On Wednesday, November 19, 2014 James Vincent Martinelli, 49, of Madison. Beloved husband of Michelle Bovee Martinelli. Born on September 3, 1965 in Waterbury, CT, beloved son of James F. and Carolyn Cavanaugh Martinelli of Madison. Loving father of James M. Martinelli, Jordyn M. Martinelli and Felicia A. Martinelli, all of Madison. Beloved brother of Anne M. and Mark Virtue of Sicituate, MA and Matthew and Joyce Martinelli of North Haven, CT. Also survived by two nephews, Peter and Matthew.
Jim graduated from the Franklin Institute of Boston and formerly owned and operated Aaronsons Auto in Madison. He was currently employed by Jerrys Transmission. Jim was well loved and respected among all his business associates and the community at large. He prided himself on being a loving, hardworking family man. Jim was loved by all who knew him.
Friends may call Friday, November 21 from 4 to 7pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford, CT 06437. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Smilow Cancer Center, Closer to Free, PO Box 7611, New Haven, CT 06519-0611
