In CT Hospice, Branford on Saturday, June 14, 2014 Joan Webster Fowler longtime resident of North Guilford passed away peacefully. Wife of the late George Ellis Fowler. Joan was born in Hartford on Jan. 4, 1938, daughter of the late Irving Webster and Mary DesJardins Webster Schadee. Loving mother to Susan Moogan, husband Denis of Guilford and Lorrie Lawler of Guilford. Sister to Robert Webster of Manchester and Marylou Karieva, husband Bill of Windsor. Grandmother to Ryan Lawler of Guilford, Cierra Jones, husband Brian of Bushnell, FL and Richard Moogan, wife Alba of Guilford. Great grandmother to Aiden, Mason and Nathan Jones, and Preston and Zoey Moogan. Step-grandmother to Philip, Richard and Paula Moogan and their children; Harry, Joe, Cierra, Denis and Elaysia all of England.
Memorial services will be held at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford on Saturday, June 21 at 3 pm. Burial will take place privately at the North Guilford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Guilford Volunteer Fire Dept, 3087 Durham Rd, Guilford, CT 06437 or to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06405.
