In Madison Saturday, March 15, 2014 Stanwood Raymond Dolph longtime resident of Madison passed away. Beloved husband, for over fifty years of Catherine Panko Dolph. Stanwood was born in Guilford on Mar 31, 1932, son of the late Henry and Harriet Wheatley Dolph. Father of S. Barret Dolph of China, Catherine Elizabeth Dolph and her wife Elizabeth Crosby McLachlan of CA, and Jonathan David Dolph and his wife Hu Ping of Madison. Also survived by six grandchildren, Stanwood P. Dolph of West Hartford, Jonathan Hu An Dolph of Madison, Julia Elizabeth Dolph of CA, Eliza Olga Dolph and Jeremy Alexander Dolph both of Taiwan.
Mr. Dolph graduated from Guilford High School and later from Southern Connecticut State University. He owned and operated Dolphs Drafting and Design, and designed many shoreline areas homes.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scranton Memorial Library, PO Box 631, Madison, CT 06443.
