In CT Hospice, Branford, on Monday, May 20, 2013, Cameron O. Duncan of Madison passed away peacefully. Mr. Duncan was born in Brooklyn, NY on Oct. 28, 1929, son of the late William Cameron Duncan and Ethel Duncan. Father of Eric Duncan and his wife Kathy of Old Saybrook, and Dana Duncan of Chester. Also survived by three grandchildren, Liam, Kelsey and Conor and his companion Tricia Duncan.
During his youth after World War II, Cameron worked for Farm Fellowship, which helped European refugees resettling in America. Mr. Duncan was a proud combat veteran during the Korean War in the US Army where he also served with the Army Ski Troops. He later went on to work in Sales in the Dental industry and after retirement at Stop and Shop.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 2pm in the First Congregational Church, 122 Broad St, Guilford. Prior to services, burial with Military Honors will take place at 1:30pm in the Church Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or the National Wildlife Federation, PO Box 1583, Merrifield, VA 22116-1583.
