In North Branford, CT, Sunday, June 29, 2014, Patricia Moulton Flowers, 89, of Evergreen Woods, North Branford, formerly of Darien, CT. Beloved wife of the late John Francis Flowers. Born in New Hampton, NH on September 24, 1924, daughter of the late Ralph Waldo Moulton and Mable Theodora Marsh Moulton. Loving mother of Nancy Flowers-Mangs, of Guilford, CT, Gregory Flowers of MD, Barbara Maestas of MD and Beverley Kelley of VA. Grandmother of Michael and Patricia Maestas, Kacey, Darbie and Sean Kelley, Erik amd Rebecca Mangs. Also survived by her brother Robert (Betty) Moulton of NH, sister in law Joanne Howe Moulton of NH, seven nephews, RJ, Charles, Sherman, Bill, David, Jim, Scott Moulton and many more grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Richard Moulton.
Mrs. Flowers was one of the first female graduates of the University of New Hampshire. She worked at General Electric until she married, at which point she managed a home and four children. Family was very important to her and she dedicated her time to her childrens activities. She lived in Darien, CT with her family for 40 plus years and was active in community service including Southwestern Girl Scouts, Lassie League, and a DAR member (Daughters of the American Revelution). She was also an avid genealogist donating volumes of ancestral records to local libraries and genealogical societies.
