In Yale New Haven Hospital, Wednesday, May 7, 2014 Lynn Ann Handy(42) of New Haven formerly of Guilford passed away. Lynn was born in New Haven on Sept. 21, 1971, the beloved daughter of Roy E. Handy and Helena Rahmann Handy of Guilford. Brother of William Handy of Guilford. Niece of Theodore (Kathleen) Rahmann of Madison, Wayne (Susan) Handy of Chester and Sue (Curt) Doerrer of Orlando, FL. Also survived by her loving extended family of cousins. Predeceased by an uncle, Dietrich Rahmann.
Lynn is a 1989 graduate of Guilford High School and she attended Western CT State Univ. For 14 years Lynn worked as an executive analyst for the Brady Corporation. She traveled extensively and loved her music.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 11:30am at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Friends may call prior to the services at the Guilford Funeral Home from 10 11:30am. Burial will take place in Alder Brook Cemetery, Boston St, Guilford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 1463 Highland Ave, Cheshire, CT 06410; www.kidney.org
